No network interface to work with on nrf9160

Hello,

I followed the getting started guide but the kit can't connect. I'm getting this error:

net_if.net_if_init: There is no network interface to work with!

Is this a known bug, how can i fix it? Or is there a hardware issue?

finally got my board connected. The issue has been the LTE-M1 coverage at my location. I moved my board to another place and finally got connection. BTW I switched my SIM to the AT&T's one. Haven't tested the iBasic yet. Those who has gone to the step where the board is searching for LTE towers should have no hardware issue. It may just be your location is not covered by your carrier. Happy connecting.

Thank you for sharing steve.miao. It's encouraging.

My current understanding is that, in Canada, iBasis works through Bell, which may not have full national support for LTE-M (I am saying this because I was not able to find an official LTE-M coverage map online). And maybe the Twilio cards I ordered are also working with Bell.

I know for sure, on the other hand, that Telus is advertising support for LTE-M in my area (based on their coverage map), so I guess the next logical step for me will be to order a SIM from Telus and try again. I'll share my results here in a few weeks from now.
