Setting up Keil MDK for DK nRF52832 SDK 15.2.0 ble_app_uart

Hi everyone,

I am a beginner for  BLE software development with MDK-LiteV 5.26.2.0.

• Target device: nRF52832（EKSHCNZWZ made by Taiyo Yuden）
• SDK: nrf5_SDK_15.2.0_9412b96
• SoftwareDevice: s132_nrf52_6.1.0
• Reference document: Attached

At first, I flashed the SoftwareDevice to the target device with the nRFgo Studio.

Verification was OK.

Next, I compiled according to the reference document and flashed it.

But it did not move.

Yes, thanks. The program reaches main(), which means that both app and Softdevice has been programmed correctly. Please try let the program run for a couple of seconds as well, then stop it and check if it ends up at the address shown in the screenshot below and not in the application's error handler.

Yes, I use the "nRF Toolbox" and "nRF UART v2.0".

Neither of them could find the device.

I flashed an older version of SDK "nRF5_SDK_14.0.0_3bcc1f7" to the device.

• SoftwareDevice: s132_nrf52_5.5.0

My tablet was able to find the device.

Does this mean that the new version of the example program does not work?

Hi,

I suggest that you try programming another BLE example without modifying it and see if you are able to discover with the nrf connect app. The UART example should have worked.

I tried programming the latest SDK(nRF5_SDK_15.3.0_59ac345) without modifying it.

So, my tablet was able to connect with the BLE module.

I have programmed according to the Taiyoyuden's Manual.

I think that it is caused by adding the header file of "custom_board.h".

So, my tablet was able to connect with the BLE module.

I have programmed according to the Taiyoyuden's Manual.

I think that it is caused by adding the header file of "custom_board.h".
