nRF52 DK Debug Out to 1.8V Target

The 'Debug Out' on nRF52832 (and 52840?) Dev Kits only works at 3V - so won't work with a 1.8V target.

The question has been asked before, and the obvious answer given - "you need a level converter".

But nobody's ever given any recommendation of a suitable level converter.

In particular,  a suitable level converter for the bidirectional SWDIO line ...

You could try something like this, although SWDIO is only single channel the circuit design for these two boards is applicable perhaps: Adafruit or Sparkfun the actual manufacturers pages have more info and circuit application. There is maybe a single channel version, not sure.

I haven't used this on SWDIO, just a suggestion. The companion Application Note explains the concept; also this Application Note.
