How to have an android mobile app connect to the nRF cloud to retrieve the data?

Hello. 

I'm completely new to nRF cloud. now my iot device is successfully sending the data to the nRFcloud.

now i'm building an android app and i don't know how to get that data from the nRF cloud.

how do i do that please?

We have a RESTful API which enables you to retrieve the data your devices send to nRF Connect for Cloud.

This post is a few years old  but I am in a very similar boat as OP and the published example is no longer available on devzone so if there's a more recent example to look over as a resource? And I'm assuming RESTful API is referring to the nRF Cloud REST API?
