nRF52840 DK using CODED_PHY Crashes SDK nRF5_SDK_15.2.0_9412b96

I have modified the Blinky example in the SDK to support CODED_PHY as per the examples I have seen but am unable to get it to run.  The modified main.c is attached

It seems to crash at this line

err_code = sd_ble_gap_adv_set_configure(&m_adv_handle, &m_adv_data, &adv_params);

I guess I have missed something simple but dont seem to get much in the way of debug output to investigate as it just  crashes with a "Fatal error" any help appreciated.
