nRF9160 dk not available from NRF Connect

NRF Connect shows no device available.

usb interface MCU which embeds a j link is not detected by windows.

LED5 is blinking.

I have an external jlink to try to recover, how to procced?

    This is an ongoing case with AVNET FAE (#228949), please refer to this case.

    Edit: Please disregard message above, as this is the only issue we have seen so far on nRF9160. Below is the last answer to FAE involved in the mentioned case above.

    We need more details about this case. There have not been any issues in regards to LED5 blinking with the nRF9160 DK. Can you please provide links to the similar cases found on DevZone?

    • What board revision is the customer using? 
      • This information on the back of the board.
    • Can you please provide the list of steps the customer has done?
      • What getting started guide did the customer follow?
    • Did the board show on the computer before?
    • Can the customer find the board in Device Manager?
    • Please ensure that both USB cable and the USB connector are in good condition.
    • Please ensure that SW5 is set to nRF9160.
    • Has the customer done anything physical to the board itself?
