Problem detecting the SIM card via nrf connect

Hello,

I'm trying to add another LTE device to nrf connect. But I am facing problem when adding it, I have my own sim card for iot from Singtel, It worked with the first card, but with the other one it seems to be a little bit buggy... Instead of having led 3 and 4 blinking at the same time, i have only led 4 on (without blinking). I even tried the pairing procedure but it was not working...

Please Nordic, what should I do?

    I guess I was confused with this.  Another LTE device.  First card and other one. 

    But you have one DK and 1 sim card and you didn't replace it?

    The asset tracker software should power up, blink green LED while it's connecting and then either both 3 and 4 blink where you are trying to add it to an account or 4 on solid when it is paired. 

    If yours is just turning on and 3 doesn't blink at all and it goes to 4 on solid, I would assume that the device can't connect to the tower that fast.  And the software is not running right.  I would go back and download the latest firmware for the radio and re-compile the asset tracker software and flash it and try again.  Sounds to me that the software flashed on there is not correct. 

  • I have two DK and I am using the same SIM card. It was working with the first one, so I want to do the same thing with the second DK, so I removed a device in nrf connect and then wanted to add my second DK (with the same sim) as a new device.

    But we noticed that we are having problem, cause the first DK seems to get broken (cannot connect it again via nrf connect with the same sim card), and the second DK is the same : cannot connect at all...

    Perhaps because I downloaded the asset tracker in the DK and I have to remove it to be able to connect to nrf?

    I really don't know what to do, it is very obscure
