Programmer app in nRF connect is not working in ubuntu 16.04!

I installed nRF connect for desktop in ubuntu 16.04. I added Programmer app . It was working fine till yesterday. But I update it from the nRF connect today. But now programmer app is not launching. It's always loading like the following figure. How to launch Programmer app now?

We're sorry for the inconvenience regarding nRF Connect 2.7.0 and are aware of the issues. Did the JLink/JTrace v6.44e Software pack solve all issues for you? At the moment, we urge people to downgrade to v2.6.2 as a workaround.

Unfortunately, I have the same problem. My system is Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. I have already removed AppImage file 3.2.0 and run 2.4.0, instead. The problem still happen. Do I need to run on Ubuntu 18.04. Please help. Danke schon.

Unfortunately, Ubuntu 14.04 is too old to run nRF Connect v3.2.0. Please see this post.
