Hi,

I'm beginner here.

Could you guide me how to check that my nrf9160 custom board is working?

Should I program it with any firmware before programming with my application like blinking LED ?

Hello Auangkun,

First, you should ensure that your custom board is according to our reference layout, which you can find under Schematics and layout for nRF9160 in the Download section of nRF9160. A good source can also be the nRF9160 DK, which covers antenna design as well.

After this, you should ensure that you have the latest version of NCS (nRF Connect SDK), which is available through nRF Connect for Desktop using the Getting Started Assistant v0.9.3.
