Unable to program nrf52840 DK

Hi,

I am new to nrf52840 DK , when I try to program it through nrf connect "Unsupported device. The detected device could not be recognized as neither JLink device nor Nordic USB device." will appear. But I can see the DK as JLink driver in device manager. I read at info center that LED 1 should pulsating but it is not pulsating at all, LED 5 is constantly on instead. Also I did not see the DK as driver in windows file explorer. I am not sure what can be the cause of that.

I do not receive the error any more and I can see DK as driver in windows file explorer but writing on boad is not allowed on nrfConnect.

From the screenshot you sent I can barely see that it says nRF52840_XXAA_ENGA. This must mean you are using a very early nRF52840 preview DK, which is not recommended for development. _ENGA means it's possible an early engineering sample which differ from the production version. I highly recommend to get a new nRF52840-DK for development.
