Is there a way to read the nRF9160 modem firmware revision? I am certain we will need to know it at some point if for no other reason than to help debug an issue, such as not seeing the LTE flag in the LTE Link Monitor go from Red/Yellow/Red pattern to all green.

You can confirm that your modem version is updated by running the at_client sample in combination with "LTE Link Monitor" and sending the AT command:
Do you use the following environment?
- Release notes for the nRF Connect SDK v1.0.0 (NCS)
- Release notes for the Modem Firmware v1.0.0 (MFW)
You can refer to this tutorial to update the NCS and MFW.
Then, you can refer to this Getting Started with nRF9160 DK tutorial to play the at_client sample with LTE Link Monitor.
