Which SDK nrf51802 runs supports Bluetooth 4.2?
Hi,
The latest version of our SDK supporting the nRF51 series is nRF5 SDK v12.3.0. This is the recommended release to use with all nRF51 series devices. nRF51802 is compatible with nRF51822, although you may have to take into consideration the anomalies listed in the Product Anomaly Notification.

Hi,
For new development on nRF51 series devices we recommend to use nRF5 SDK v12.3.0, which is the newest nRF5 SDK that supports the nRF51 series. The BLE SoftDevices provided with that SDK release are Bluetooth 4.2.
For further questions regarding Bluetooth specification version numbers, I refer to our online documentation.

Terje
My product used to use S110 in sdk8.0 of nrf51802 chip. Now it needs Bluetooth 4.2 version if it is certified, and the S130 under sdk8.0 will change into Bluetooth 4.2 with less changes
