nRF52840 RESET Pin routing to avoid Pad on Via

Hi All,

I am using nRF52840 in one of our design. As the P0.18 is the RESET pin, it is tough to route the trace without a pad on via. Hence as I have modified my design by shorting the following pads: P0.18-->P0.19-->P0.21-->P0.23-->P0.25. I have done this by following the nRF 52840 Dongle PCB. I would like to know do we need to modify anything in firmware? Please let me know if its okay to connect this way. Awaiting early response. Thanks in advance.

Hi Sandeep

There should not be a problem with routing the reset button via other GPIOs as long as these pins aren't used for anything else.
