If you'd like to route the UART0 or UART1 pins to other GPIOs, please follow the instructions in this post.

We tried flashing the NRF52840 chipset as seen in above post. But we could not able to access P0.29 on NRF9160 DK to test with. Is there any way we can test the P0.29 on the DK itself?
Other thing we tried is to change the UART0 pin to P0.16 and P0.17 by changing the uart 0 in overlay file. In that also we were not able to see UART data on P0.16 and P0.17

We have already followed the post and did everything as mentioned. But still we are not able to. We tried to set P0.14 as uart 0 tx and P0.15 as UART 0 RX. We used NRF9160DK. We flashed the prebuilt binary attached in the link to NRF52840. Also tried flashing the same after building "hello world". But still it doesnt work. We are able to receive UART data , but not able to transmit from P0.14.
The DK HW version we are using is 0.8.5 and SDK version 1.3.0
Have you made any progress on this?
