Hello guys,
I'm trying to use the new NRFX library but I've hit the wall with the following error when trying to use the comparator API:
undefined reference to `nrfx_comp_init'
This happens during the link stage. I can see the nrfx_comp.c being compiled, I've set the #define NRFX_COMP_ENABLED 1 in sdk_config.h but the error still persists.
I've included #include "nrfx_comp.h" in my project.
I'm using GCC. Any help is appreciated.

Did you also added nrfx_comp.c to the project?
From your SDK folder, add to the project a reference to the following: modules/nrfx/drivers/src/nrfx_comp.c
I believe my project points to the wrong nrfx_config.h file ... but I cannot understand how does my Makefile do the connection to the correct:

In the Makefile, `SDK_ROOT` is defined as a relative path

And my dir structure:
my project is in /nRF5_SDK_17.0.0_9d13099/examples/ble_peripheral/my_blue_project
and I have a main.c in /my_blue_project directory.
Are you sure the sdk_config.h you edited to is the correct one being referenced in the project during the build?
As if NRFX_COMP_ENABLED is not enabled, nrfx_comp_init won't be build and linked...
Try and move the "../config \" to the top of the top of the INC_FOLDERS section
And make sure ../config/sdk_config.h has NRFX_COMP_ENABLED set to 1
I tried, it still fails.
I've opened the config/sdk_config.h with my default text editor and I confirm on 100% that NRFX_COMP_ENABLED is set to 1.
I'm using Eclipse, and when I open nrfx_comp.c the entire file is gray, as if NRFX_COMP_ENABLED is not 1.
When I open nrfx.h I see this:

and sdk_config.h is nowhere included ... That's why I assumed that maybe my <nrfx_config.h> is the wrong one ...
I've added some garbage in the nrfx_comp.c and the compiler didn't see it. This means that for some reason NRFX_COMP_ENABLED is 0.
