Before enter system on idle mode call sd_ble_gap_adv_stop(m_adv_handle) then can not wake up use gpiote

Hi all:

I am using sdk 16.0.When put system on idle mode call two times sd_app_evt_wait it works well.But I want to save power,so before enter idle mode,but when I call the sd_ble_gap_adv_stop(m_adv_handle) api,after I can not wake up from idle mode,if I don not call sd_ble_gap_adv_stop api I can wake up from idle mode using keybutton.

Any one can tell me what 's the problem?Thanks.

 How do you know that you've not woken up?



why do you call sd_app_evt_wait twice?

I am sure,the keybutton config is ok.Because before enter system on,the nrfx_gpiote_irq_handler can be called.If I call the sd_app_evt_wait twice,then enter system on mode,after the nrfx_gpiote_irq_handler cannot be called.But I can find the gpiote events_port has generate a event.

and why enter system on mode,the nrfx_gpiote_irq_handler can not be response?

Yeah, that should be correct. 

Do you observe this issue on the PCA10040 DK?

 that's not how you use the API, you only call sd_app_evt_wait once. See f. ex: sdk17/examples/ble_peripheral/ble_app_uart/main.c line 312.

Haakonsh,Thanks for your patient responses these days.It was solved,when i call the sd_app_evt_wait once.

Because I don’t have a deep understanding, I think that after calling this api, the subsequent code will no longer run, so I always think that the chip does not enter the sleep mode, in fact, the sleep management function has been called in the main loop. Later I also tested Current consumption is within 10ua, meeting the requirements.
