Examples of iOS or Android app with BLE Long Range or Phy Coded (125 kbps)

Hello, 

I am interested in testing the BLE long range mode of nRF52833 (or nRF52820) and have found documentation about the long range testing that has been performed on the nRF52840.This example shows testing of two development boards that are using the devices in BLE Long Range or Coded Phy mode.   See post at https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/nordic/nordic-blog/b/blog/posts/testing-long-range-coded-phy-with-nordic-solution-it-simply-works-922075585

My question is, does anyone know of any example apps that will run on either an Android or iOS device where the BLE Long Range or Coded Phy mode can be tested?  It would be great to see how far we can utilize a nRF52833 with a smart phone.  If anyone has any suggestions or examples, please let me know.

Sorry about the late reply, but we're still working through the backlog from the summer vacation period, as we were severely understaffed during the month of July.

Coded PHY in phones is still not a common feature, and only the latest flagship models generally have this feature. The nRFConnect for Android and iOS app supports scanning for Coded PHY advertisements and connecting over Coded PHY as long as the phone supports Coded PHY and extended advertising as well.
