Hi,
There is no minimum current draw from the GPIOs. The GPIOs will hold the level set in the application regardless of load, even at 0A current draw without any connected load.
The current drawn from the GPIO will be determined by the series resistor you have connected between the GPIO and the MOSFET gate.

I believe with 6MOhm, resistor will cause so large voltage drop that it won't be enough to turn-on the MOSFET, e.i. gate voltage will be very low. Plus, if I am not mistaken, there should be no current draw except for gate-to-source leakage current which in MOSFET that I use is about 100nA. The main current draw will be when the MOSFET is changing states (on-off) because gate acts as a capacitor, which in turn will be charged and discharged.
