Windows Tool to force a BLE host to request a 2M PHY connection to a Nordic device supporting it

To the kind attention of Nordic support team,

We are doing EMC pre-tests of our products using your nRF52833 .

At this stage, nRF52833 device is triggering itself a phy update request when in BLE mode, in order vto switch to 2 M PHY.

From Lab the said it would be handy to control the PHY update using a BLE host instead.

So, do you know any Windows tool we can use to force a BLE host to generate a phy update request

event in a device, so that host is able to switch between 1 M PHY and 2 M PHY when desired?

Should we build such an Host, using one of your board as an adapter and modifying one of your SDK samples?

Thank you very much sir for your reply. We will immediately give a look at what you are suggesting. We were also evaluating this 

\examples\ble_central_and_peripheral\experimental\ble_app_att_mtu_throughput

so to use the host code running in an evaluation board and replicate the device code in our device (may have your opinion about it? it seems to be a plausible way to go too).

As I'm primarily an embedded developer - rather than a PC developer - that would probably be the way I'd go, if I were doing this myself.

It really depends on where your skill/experience/comfort zone lies ...
