nRF connect errors

I am trying to communicate between my mobile Bluetooth and a BLE sysyem (Bluetooth low energy chip and evaluation board). The BLE chip I am using is NINA-B301 and evaulation board is EVK-NINA-B3. I have installed nRF connect app and downloaded the software from nordic semiconductor website which are mentioned in the user manual (section 2.2) of EVK-NINA-B3. However, I am getting the attached two errors when I select the port in nRF connect app ( I have connected the BLE chip and evaluation board to my computer through USB).Can you please look into my problem?4540.NINA-B3_SIM_(UBX-17056748) Evaluation Board.pdf

Hello,

The u-blox dev board is not supported by the Bluetooth app, unfortunately. These are the boards it supports (nRF Connect Bluetooth Low Energy):

• PCA10056 nRF52840 Development Kit
• PCA10040 nRF52 Development Kit
• PCA10059 nRF52840 Dongle (10$)
• PCA10028 nRF51 Development Kit
• PCA10031 nRF51 Dongle

Hi,

Yes, I recommend using our nRF connect app. It's available both for ios and Android.

Hi,

To make the ev board visilble to nRF connect app you need to program a Bluetooth application onto the board as explained in the "Software" chapter of the user guide you linked to.
