How to connect nordic ZigBee with Digi's XBee module?

I want to connect the nordic ZigBee with Digi's XBee module. 

I have configured the Digi XBee pro s2c module as coordinator and nordic as a router but they are not communicating.

Which parameters should I configure to get this work?

 Did the Nordic device join the network at all? If not, what channel is the XBee operating on, and what channel did you set up the Nordic device to use?

Does the XBee device require any install codes (ICs) to join the network?

I don't know much about XBee, so I'll just assume that it is a normal Zigbee device.

Now I am using Digi's XBee 3 module.

I am seeing following info prints in RTT viewer.

I am using channel No. 16 for network forming in Digi's module, and the same channel is used in nordic (Router) too.

Digi's module has ZigBee mesh network firmware and using ZigBee stack profile 2.

In Digi's network monitoring tool (xctu) I can see nordic as a router but I think it repeatedly connecting disconnecting as shown in the above prints.

You can see the following screenshot of xctu monitoring window where you can see 2 nordic routers and 1 end device but they are not connecting the network but I can see them in the monitoring window.

Is the XBee device using Install Codes (ICs)? What SDK version are you using? 4.1.0?

Yes, XBee module requires install codes.

nordic sdk is 4.1.0.

So did you add the ICs to the Nordic routers?

Hint: Look at how these are implemented in the CLI example when you use the "bdb ic set" command.
