Select File → Open nRF Connect SDK Project… does not exist in option list

1. Start SEGGER Embedded Studio by clicking Open IDE //Successfully installed, what means Open IDE ? ? ?
2. Select File → Open nRF Connect SDK Project…  //it just dont appear in the drop down menu 
3. To import a project into SES, you must specify the following information:  I dont understand what to do here ?
   • CMakeLists.txt - the location of the CMakeLists.txt project file of the sample that you want to work with
     i.e. C:\Users\ZIEGER\ncs\v1.3.1\zephyr\samples\basic\blinky\CMakeLists.txt

Hey Chris 

I suspect you have downloaded and installed Segger Embedded Studio (SES) through their website instead of using the toolchain manager in our nRF Connect software, is that correct? In that case the easiest solution is to uninstall SES and installing SES Nordic Edition again through the toolchain manager in nRF Connect.  

You can download the nRF Connect 3.5.0 software here , Install it, select the toolchain manager, and install nRF Connect SDK with the SES Nordic Edition software through the toolchain manager. It should looks like this: 

and then you should be good to go! 

As to your specific questions: 

1. The "Open IDE" refers to the nRF Connect software, I'll insert a picture to show you how it should look like after installing SES Nordic Edition through the toolchain manager. Open IDE means Open Integrated Development Environment, ie Open Segger Embedded Studio Nordic Edition.  

2 and 3. these options are available only in SES Nordic Edition

i dont have to opportunity to to click Open IDE after installing everything succesfully ... 

see on the screenshot below.

I also installed both versions SDK 1.3.0 and SDK 1.3.1, i already uninstalled Segger Embedded Studio ! 

Do you have an advice for me ?

This should be in the file named ncs you created when you installed the nRF connect SDK v1.3.1

Yes, I know the folder but inside this folder there is no zephyr included. There is only the opt folder 

Im supposed to select the directory for zephyr base but if there is nothing, what shall I do then ?

I just downloaded the ncs version 1.3.1 myself, looks like this is still under development and doesn't support all our example applications or zephyr right yet. I think you'll have more luck with this if you install the ncs version 1.3.0.

Now I installed ncs version 1.3.0 and there is still no zephyr ... 

What now ? 

Can i manually install zephyr ?
