Error in building project using segger for nrf9160

I had setup the toolchain as described but on building the blinky project and other projects i got the following error.

Could you try to use the Toolchain Manager and see if the error still appears? If you use the Toolchain Manager, you don't need to install anything or set up any kind of Toolchain, everything is installed and set up automatically. Check out the NCS tutorial Part 0 and Part 1 for instructions how to do this.

yes i setup with toolchain but still error appears same didn't find the reason for this. one more thing i wanna ask how to enable the gpio output as 3.3or 3v instead of 1.7 bold can't able to find proper resource to this.

Setting up the Toochain and using the Toolchain Manager is not the same thing. If you use the Toolchain Manager, you don't need to set the toolchain.

To use the Toolchain Manager, do the following:

• Download nRF Connect for Desktop
• Open up nRF Connect and install Toolchain Manager:

• Install NCS v1.4.0

• Then the SDK will get stored here:

• The Toolchain will get stored here (python, west, git, cmake, segger, GNU compiler etc..):

yes the same procedure was followed but when install v1.3 open ide option available but when install v1.4 no open ide button show up

Hmm.. That is strange.

• What version of nRF Connect for Desktop are you running? Try updating to the latest one
• What version of J-link are you using?
• What OS are you using?
• Could you show me a screenshot of nRF Connect For Desktop-->Toolchain Manager with the missing IDE button?

If you have problems using SES, you could check out Visual Studio Code, that's what I'm using. If you install the extensions C/C++, DeviceTree for the Zephyr Project and Kconfig for the Zephyr Project and program using west and the built in command-line tool it works quite well. Also has the possibility to open the whole NCS and search for files.
