Hi,

My PC is Windows 7 64-bit and my tool is J-Link V9. The CPU at my target board is nrf52840. I use nRF connect desktop version 3.60 and it works fine.
I got the upgrade information today and upgraded it to nRF connect desktop version 3.61. It caused an error message "Unsupported device. The detected device could not be recognized as neither JLink device nor Nordic USB device"
My nRF connect desktop cannot connect with my target through J-Link V9. The log file is 2020-12-10T08_50_27.009Z-log.txt.

I try to downgrade Segger J-Link driver V6.54c or V6.84c or V6.80a and nRF connect desktop version 3.60. It caused an error message "ERROR Error while getting readback protection".
The log file is 2020-12-10T09_18_05.227Z-log.txt.

I run the Dos command "nrfjprog --family NRF52 --recover".
and I got the message as follows.
Recovering device. This operation might take 30s.
Erasing user code and UICR flash areas.

But the problem still exists. How to fix it? Could anyone help me?

Microsoft recommend that you upgrade to Windows 10:

My Windows 7 PC work fine on nRF connect desktop version 3.60. It causes the issue on upgrading to nRF connect desktop version 3.61. I just want to know how to solve the problem. How to make my PC work fine? It makes mine can not work. Please help me how to fix it.

You may choose to install nRF Connect v3.6.0 (instead of v3.6.1):

Then after installing v3.6.0 you may choose to install the Programmer app manually by following this description:
