Connection problem with CMW500 with nRF9160DK with NB-IOT system

Hi,

I would use the test nRF9160DK and Thing91DK with CMW500 equipment under NB-IOT stanadard.

Both DK kit and Thing91DK can connected to service provider when I plug-in service provider SIM card and cloud service seem to be normal

When I change the SIM card to R&S Test SIM with Thing91DK and using coaxial cable to connect to the kit with CMW500 and setup with corrected channel.  CMW500 can established connection with DUT (Thing91DK) as follows:

However, when it is running continuously, CMW500 will drop the connection as follows:

For it is using nRF9160DK instead of Thing91DK, it cannot make any successful connection all the time.

In addition, if I use another NB-IOT module with the same Test Sim card and same setup of CMW500, the connection is done all the time for both Tx and Rx measurement.

Please advise how to setup for making testing on it.

Hello, 

Have you seen this guide on "Using nRF9160 against R&S CMW500 (or CMW290) in signalling callbox mode"? 

This should give you the correct configuration on CMW500.

I have read this guide already but I can see on left bottom corner of "default bearer" have no RLC mode to be displayed from the following screen.  Does it means that an option KS510 to be needed?  In fact, my CMW500 have not purchased this option, do you have any suggestion to test NB-IOT without this option?
