We are eplanning to include a simple DoA or DoD estimation in our device for BLE bracelet doirection detection. One partner claimed that nRF 52811 can't be used for this purpose. Is it so?

nRF52811 &820& 833& 840 can be apply for AOA &AOD (Angle-of-arrival) no problems. Just follow the direct find SDK.
Hi
The nRF52811 does support Aoa/AoD direction finding. Please check out the direction finding whitepaper on the Infocenter for details.
Please also note that the nRF52840 does not support direction finding (AoA/AoD). Otherwise, Henry_Chou is correct
Best regards,
Simon
Yep! Simon is correct. 52840 is not support direction finding. nRF5340 is....I am always confused because 52811 & 52840 are same DK. Actually , I did 820 project befoe. Thanks for simon's advice.
Hi guys, when you say the nRF52840 does not support direction-finding, do you mean when it is used as a locator in the case of AoA and Emitter when AoD right? because it is still able to generate CTE when it is being used as a beacon and the Locator catch it when in AoA
