We are eplanning to include a simple DoA or DoD estimation in our device for BLE bracelet doirection detection. One partner claimed that nRF 52811 can't be used for this purpose. Is it so?

Hi

The nRF52811 does support Aoa/AoD direction finding. Please check out the direction finding whitepaper on the Infocenter for details. 

Please also note that the nRF52840 does not support direction finding (AoA/AoD). Otherwise, Henry_Chou is correct

Hi guys, when you say the nRF52840 does not support direction-finding, do you mean when it is used as a locator in the case of AoA and Emitter when AoD right? because it is still able to generate CTE when it is being used as a beacon and the  Locator catch it when in AoA
