Hello,
I have just purchased a nRF9160 development kit. I am using the following Youtube video to get things up and running.
Unbox and get your Nordic nRF9160 DK up and running - YouTube
I have already downloaded the nRF connect for desktop and updated the application and modem firmware on my board to the latest version without any issues. I live in Canada and I have verified that I do have LTE-M coverage by checking the following webpage.
NETWORK COVERAGE | iBASIS
According to the youtube video above, since my board has a PIN as opposed to a HWID I did not need to update the certificates.
I have created my nRF Connect for Cloud account and am trying to add a new LTE device. I am having trouble activating my eSIM. My eSIM is brand new and has never been used. I have double checked to make sure that I have entered the correct ICCID and PUK. The issue arises when I am filling out the form where it asks for my name, email, address and other information. This can be seen at time 10:29 in the above Youtube video. I have entered all my information correctly and when I go to submit the information by clicking the submit button nothing happens. There is no error message. It does not go to the next screen. The window does not close. It seems like it is just stuck and the button is not working. I had no choice but to close the window without activating my eSIM. In devices it shows that I have one eSIM but it says that it is not active. I believe it is an issue with the nRF Connect for Cloud website. I have also had the same issue when I am trying to edit my account info. When I try to change my display name in the account setting, a window pops up telling me to enter a display name. When I click the save button nothing happens. The window does not close and my display name does not update and there is no error message displayed.
Can anybody please explain why these buttons are not doing anything for me?
