SW development in Eclipse

Hello,

I'm currently using SES for SW-development (NRF52). But especially for legacy code and refactoring I think this tool is absolutly not suitable (basic functions like renaming a variable/struct/function in the complete project, good auto-completion feature,...). So would like to know whether anyone of you sucessfully moved to e.g. Eclipse including debugging and if so, if you have any advises for this (do and don'ts). I guess there is no tool for import/export from SES (or did I just find nothing)?

Hi,

There is a blog post about development with Eclipse and GCC available here. It is quite old and not updated for latest SDK version, but you may get some hints into what is needed.

Since this is not a supported development IDE/platform, we are a bit limited on the support we can give on this, but maybe someone in the community can give you some additional suggestions.
