Request of guidance for nRF5340 based project customization with CPP language

Hi Nordic Leaders,

I need to complete nRF5340 based C++ Software simple solution for ONLY Data Transmit, Receive and Data Store on Flash for our Tier1 Medical client by Apr2021, with testing on DK board.

The present Image footprint size is huge (approx. 250K + !!) MCU Boot = 42 KB!! – when I build an example Light switch project on nRF Connect SDK.

 

Please guide me – how to customize the project or as a creating new project, and to reduce the size of the footprint for implementing a basic Data Transceiver application over Bluetooth mesh in Segger IDE(development on Windows machine).

Hi Selvam,

You do not write which radio protocol you intend to use, which is important. In any case, the nRF Connect SDK includes a lot of sample applications for transmitting and receiving data. There are also sample applications that demonstrate persistent storage in flash. You can find the samples under nrf and under zephyr.

We do not provide any C++ examples, but it is possible to write application code in C++ using the nRF Connect SDK / Zephyr if you need to. We do not directly support it, though. See C++ Support for Applications.
