How to configure .emproject file of NCS to open with the nordic edition IDE?

Hi Nordic Team,

I have a installed version of Segger Embedded Studio with both the normal version , and the "Nordic Edition".

When i build a sample project with nRF connect sdk and segger nordic edition ide, i get a .emProject file.

When i close and open it again by double-click the .emproject file, the normal version of ide opens (not the nordic edition one).

Could you help me is there is any configuration to set, so that when i open the .emproject file, the ide with nordic edition loads up?

I have tired that, but even if i locate the binary file of segger embedded studio, it still loads the normal version only. i am not sure the reason, may be i must uninstall the non-nordic version to work as expected.

You must be selecting the wrong binary, then.

You still have the other options:

I think you can also drag and drop ?

In fact, I think you have two drag & drop options:

1. drag & drop onto desktop shortcut;
2. drag & drop into the open app

Also, when you open the app, it remembers "recently used" projects - so you don't even have to navigate to them.
