Hi,
I also only see information about the cell I am conencted to, while one of my colleagues gets information about 2 others as well.
I have asked the modem team to comment on why we don't get information about any neighbouring cells, but it would be helpful if you could take a modem trace for them to look at.
Also, what SIM card/network operator are you using?
Best regards,
Didrik
I did some experiments, and found that by blocking the antenna (with my hand) makes me able to receive information about two neighboring cells as well. Without blocking I get no information about neighbors.
Could it have something to do with the command %NBRGRSRP (link). Siting the documentation:
"Neighboring cell measurements are valid and available only when neighbors are being monitored, which means that the strength and quality of the current cell signal do not meet the network configured level."
I am using the sim card I got with the DK.
I can get you a modem trace tonight.
Hi, I also get only one cell reported. However, there have to be at least 3 cells available, since the they are avaiable via network search.
Hello Didrik, do you have already some information about that?
Kind regards,
Manuel
