"Unspported Device" error while connecting nRF5340 to nRF Connect v3.6.1 - Programmer

I am unable to connect the device to nRF Connect programmer. Following is the error. how to resolve it? what actually is the problem?

yes Markus I have the command line tool installed but i have not tried it.

Yes, no worries! It is just that the nrfjprog is a requirement when using the Programmer Tool, see the log below:

Does LED5 blink on the board when you power it up? Can you see the 3 COM-ports of the device in your Device Manager?

Yes I can see LED5 on and LED1 blinking. I can also see 3 COM ports along with 'Bulk Interface' option. Screenshot is attached.
