Time Multiplexing Coded PHY and 1M on Zephyr

Hello,

Is it possible to multiplex coded phy and 1M for advertising and connections on zephyr? If so, do you have any available sample code or timing requirements?

Could you give some more information on exactly how you want your device to work ? 
Do you mean you have multiple advertising sets, some of them would be 1M and some would be CODED PHY. And all of them are connectable advertising, meaning you may have connection in 1M or CODED PHY and at the same time doing advertising in 1Mbps and CODED PHY  ?

Hi Hung,

This device will be in a central role, so it will be scanning for coded PHY and 1M devices and connecting to them when they present themselves. Ideally we would like the central to be able to scan and connect to 1M and coded PHY devices simultaneously to improve latency. If this is not possible, we may be able to get away with sequentially scanning and connecting with 1M and Coded.

Hi RJ,

As far as I know, it's fine to scan on coded PHY and 1M. As long as you don't set BT_LE_SCAN_OPT_NO_1M = 1 and only use BT_LE_SCAN_OPT_CODED in the options then you init scanning. It would scan on both. See here.

Have you tried and see any issue ?
