Unable to build TF-M sample for nRF9160DK on Windows

Hi.

I've tried to build the TF-M Hello World sample using nRF Connect SDK and I get these two errors (which I think are related):

• opening dependency file secure_fw\partitions\crypto\mbedcrypto\nrf_security_src\mbedtls\CMakeFiles\crypto_service_mbedcrypto_base_vanilla.dir\C_\Users\mario\ncs\v1.6.0\mbedtls\library\memory_buffer_alloc.o.d: No such file or directory
  
  
  
• Combining ‘modules/trusted-firmware-m/CMakeFiles/tfm_cmake’

I hope it can be solved.

Hi,

Could you try installing NCS directly under your C: directory instead of under your user directory? Sometimes SES and NCS have problems with long paths, so having it under your user directory might cause errors. Shortening the name of the build directory might also help.

If this does not solve your problem, please let me know how you installed NCS and what you are selecting as nRF Connect Toolchain Version when opening the project. I just tested this with a clean installation of v1.6.0, and it built successfully in SES, so it should work.

I tried doing so and I managed to build it succesfully, but I still got this error during the building process:
Combining ‘modules/trusted-firmware-m/CMakeFiles/tfm_cmake’
I don't know if it is relevant or I can just ignore it.
