Which version of S312 for SDK 17.0.2?

I'm starting a new product development using nRF52832, SDK 17.0.2 and softdevice S312.

Should I use v6.1.1 or v7.0.1 of S312?

Nordic's docs for SDK 17.0.2 state that S312 v6.1.1 is supported, and doesn't mention v7.0.1. On the other hand, thisisant.com states that v6.1.1 is for nRF52810, and says that v7.0.1 is for nRF52 and is "compatible with the latest nRF5 SDK".

Any recommendations welcome.

Thank you, but as I said in my question I already know that.

So is the information on thisisant.com wrong when it describes v6.1.1 as for nRF52810 (no mention of nRF52832), and v7.0.1 as for nRF52 family and  "compatible with the latest nRF5 SDK"?

This prompts another question: If S312 v7.0.1 is not for use with SDK 17.0.2 then what is it used with? Is S312 v7.0.1 useless at present?

I see. I mistundertood your initial question.

Thisisant is more update regarding this information since they own and release S3xx softdevices. According to thisisant info

      

You should be able to use latest S312v7.0.1 on nRF52832 but you might have to change RAM/ROM settings in your IDE in the examples to accomodate new softdevice ROM/RAM usage which you can find in the S312 release notes.
