  • How did you add it manually? That is not something you should have to do.

  • i did it through chocolatey and python packages and i disabled it in the toolchain manager .
    i had multiple problems with the flashing through programmer in the nrf connect so i decided to install west manually . and it went better and smoother the flashing and erasing.

    i will proceed to the reinstallation of everything 
    i will keep you updated if something went wrong 

  • You can also try installing v1.6.1 in the Toolchain Manager if you don't already have it, and see if that sdk works. It will be entirely separate from v1.5.1.

    Also download and install the nRF Command Line Tools: https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Development-tools/nrf-command-line-tools/download

    If nRF Command Line Tools is already installed, then click "repair" in the installer.

  • Just add this overlay to the sample, seems to work for me.

    nrf5340dk_nrf5340_cpuapp.overlay:

    I2C_1 uses P1.02 for sda-pin and P1.03 for scl-pin.
