nRF52840 DK board not detected.

Hello Community,

I have nRF52840 board. When I connect board to system it not get detected.

I tested VCC supply it is OK.

COM port is not seen anymore.

I tried to go into bootloader by pressing button-4 + reset but sill not able to go into bootloader.

I replace USB cable but still it not get detected.

Can you please let me know what happened ?

    That is odd. What is the output of "nrfjprog -i"?

    Are you saying it worked before? Do you remember what you were doing then, last time it worked? 

    I replace USB cable but still it not get detected.

    Could you try another USB port as well?

    I checked with "nrfjprog -i" this command but nothing displayed on terminal.

    Last time it worked, It automatically get detected when I connect USB cable but Suddenly it is not detecting.

    I tried below things but still board not get detected.

    1. Checked VCC supply it is OK.

    2. Changed USB cable.

    3. Tried on different ports.

    4. Tried to go into bootloader by pressing button - 4 + reset but not works. 

    5. Checked "nrfjprog -i" this command but nothing comes on terminal.

    Below are the some test points voltages.

    1. TP11 - GND  : 5V

    2. TP12 - GND : 0V

    3. TP20 - GND : 0V

    4. TP21 - GND : 0V 

    5. TP18 - GND : 0V

    6. TP17 - GND : 0V

    7. TP22 - GND : 0V

    Could you please help me for solving this issue ?

  • Hey again Rrbbkk!

    Lets see if all the switches are in the right position. Is SW9 on VDD? Is SW6 on default? I assume SW10 is still on OFF? 

    Does LED5 turn on when you power it on?

    Try it again with the power switch and the reset button instead. You can find the steps to enter bootloader mode here
