New Generation nRF51822s

The new generation of nRF51822's have a few neat new features, particularly the automatic power management piece, that I would like to potentially leverage in our project. Is there somewhere I can go to order a development board or dongle or something that I could be sure had the new chip on it so I could test our code? I can't imaging the update would break our existing firmware, but I can imagine myself messing up the implementation of the new stuff without a bit of trial and error.

Thanks! Jeremy

  • Are you talking about the new nRF52 series, the nrf52832? Since you say automatic power management it seems like you are.

The preview dev boards were available 2 minutes after the launch a few weeks ago, you can get them from whoever your usual supplier is. Just type nRF52 into the product search box of whichever one you use.
