Known issues prevent us from updating to connect SDK 1.7.1 (from 1.5.1)

Hi,

We are looking to upgrade our connect SDK version to 1.7.1 (from 1.5.1) but at the moment there are a few breaking issues for us that will prevent us from doing so. 

At the moment we're wondering when the following issues might be resolved in which version:

KRKNWK-11384, KRKNWK-11204

No, what I am trying to say is that it will be fixed in v1.8. Sadly there are no official release dates though, so I can't say exactly when v1.8 will be released. However it will apparently be out for the second release candidate as well. The first release candidate is out now, which usually that means that in two weeks rc-2 will be as well, at which point I assume you could just pull the fix from there.

Ah, then it will be released soon I think we will be looking forward for it.

Memfault is a required dependency used only for nRF91. So we were surprised it was required to build our nRF52 application. Might this be something that will be changed in the future? I've included a link to the github line of v1.8.0-rc1

That is a bit surprising. Though I think it would be better if you could open a new ticket for this question.
