nrf5340 eng A support on latest nrf connect sdk 1.7.1

Hello,

We have a bunch of demo devices that were populated with the nrf5340 eng A version. So far we have been able to make them work by using nrf connect SDK v1.4.0 which has support for it, but we're now trying to move to the latest v1.7.1 are we're struggling to make them boot. We have newer devices that have the correct production version of nrf5340 and everything is running smoothly on those, but it would be nice to keep the older boards operational with the latest.

I've been trying to bring some of the support for eng A back to Zephyr and the nrf SDK, especially code that seems to handle errata 19, but I still can't get the old devices to boot. Attached are the patches that I've tried on Zephyr and nrf connect, is there something else that I'm missing?

Hi, 

nRF5340 eng A for development is replaced by eng. D/ rev.1 and it cannot be supported after v1.4.0. See nRF Connect SDK support table.

I'm in the same situation as Diego, only I'm trying to use nrf5340 eng A for sdk v.1.9.0. is this technically possible? Are the changes to be implemented to do this porting too big?

Unfortunately, v.1.9.0 cannot support nrf5340 eng A. See nRF Connect SDK.
