nRF9160DK Issue

Hi, Recently I  bought the nRF9160DK for development and during get start i am facing some issues

for get starting i am use this video as reference https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMvW3HXLErk

1. Erase device

2. uploaded  nrf9160dk_fw_2021-10-20_d29f1dde/img_app_bl/nrf9160dk_asset_tracker_ltem_2021-10-20_d29f1dde.hex

3. update the modem file mfw_nrf9160_1.3.1


4 created nrf cloud account

5. while adding provision devices generated the .json file and upload the file to the device using nrf connect / LTE monitor

uploaded certificate after setting the AT+CFUN=4

6. added iBasis esim (my region is INDIA will it works?)

7. after activation while setting the LTE device shows an error  40412

    Did you follow the steps provided with the error code on nRF Cloud? 

    The device cannot be found in the device registry, i.e., it is not 'known' by the IoT cloud platform. Possible reasons:

    1. You entered the device id and/or ownership code (PIN or HWID) incorrectly.
    2. Before attempting association, you did not wait for the LEDs to indicate the device was provisioned.
    3. Corrupt modem firmware.
    4. Corrupt, wrongly flashed, or illegitimate device certificates.
    5. Poor LTE connection

    Also, using the log output function in LTE Link Monitor is encourage to see messages/error.

    my region is INDIA will it works

    No, iBasis is not supported. Currently, only Jio is supported in India.

    Please retry with Jio SIM.
