swift pairng for reconnect

hi support team,

for nrf5 sdk ble_app_hid_mouse example, this example shows how to use swift pairing, it works. but I have one question for it, after I press reset button, DK will re- adv for fast adverting about 30 seconds, but OS will not reconnect it until fast adv expires and enters slow adv?

the difference between fast adv and slow adv is that there is no swift pairing infor mation in slow adv.

Have you double checked. From what I can see here, what we do is to add the Swift pair when we do fast advertising: 

And then when we do slow advertising we will clear (set = NULL) the Swift data : 

Please double check the firmware.

Yes Hung,

This is correct. I looked into sdk16 and sdk17, the code is same.

So after pairing with OS, we still have swift section when we reset device, but OS re-connect doesn't work until slow adv（we clear swift section in slow adv）.

Ah I see. I was reading it wrong. Could you let me know more info about the OS ?

Did you modify the ble_app_hids_mouse example ? 
In test here, after pairing, I reset the board and Windows re-connect immediately. I guess it's because of the directed advertising. I disable directed advertising, so it does fast advertising and it also connect automatically before it switches to Slow advertising.
