write not working - Error 0x06, for tutorial

Dear support,

I tried to follow the video here for adding service to https://webinars.nordicsemi.com/developing-bluetooth-low-energy-6, 

Read and notification works fine, but write value doesn't work. I use my phone and running nRFConnect for Mobile.

I also checked the Peripheral LBS sample, it cannot write neither and another BLE application says Error code 0x06, and REQUEST NOT SUPPORTED. description says: "Attribute server does not support the request received from the client."

Could some body help please? I saw similar post, but no reply for it.

I use Android phone, and tried according to your instruction, with Nodic Connect Mobile app, it doesn't say anything, but LED3 on board is not responding to on/off command, by the way, I am not sure I should use Request or Command in Advance option. With the other App - EFR Connect , it says "Characteristics write fail", it is a different failure message.

With the tutorial app - hello_world modified example, don't see anything received on terminal.

Notification works fine for both examples.

What else can I check please?

Hi Ping,

Please try the peripheral LBS example again and press the 'refresh services' before you write to the led characteristic. Then if you get the same error, take a screenshot like the one I took and post it here.

Here it is. Done what you asked, have never seen LED3 on on my nRF52DK board. I use Mobile app on Andoid devive.

Hello Ping,

You can swipe right to view the log after you have attempted to write to the LED characteristic. Can you post a picture of the log as well?

Thanks for the logs. It looks like you have 'reliable writes' enabled, which is not supported by the peripheral. You can turn this off by pressing the "abort" button here:
