Example of MCUBOOT upgrade OTA

I currently have an application with B0->SPM->MCUBOOT->APP and am looking for an example of how to upgrade MCUBOOT itself over the air from a file downloaded from some server.

I see some examples of using SMP over Bluetooth but am struggling to find any examples over the internet.

Have you done any application update via FOTA ? If you haven't please have a look at this example: https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/samples/nrf9160/http_update/application_update/README.html

I assume what you want to achieve is to do MCUBoot update itself. If it's the case I would suggest to have a look at this similar case: https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/86385/secure-bootloader-chain-two-stage-upgradable-bootloader-mcuboot

In the case I pointed to an example that one of my coworkers has made an example on how to do it with SMP server. The next step is to combine the http update example so that it would do MCUBoot update instead of application update.

Sorry for the late reply, currently blocked on this as I am waiting for support on a related ticket so haven't got to test this yet
