With the release of the Bluetooth 5.2 standard, also came the introduction of BLE Audio.
Since I am evaluating a SoC for bluetooth headphones, I stumbled upon the fact that according to the datasheet not all Bluetooth 5.2/5.3 certified SoC support BLE Audio (currently only the nRF5340). Is that truly the case?
If it is, is there a way to determine if a SoC supports BLE Audio even if it is Bluetooth >=5.2 "certified"? Or is it similar to the USB-C and HDMI standard where the version itself does not directly correlate to the available functions?
Thank you in advance for the reply
Yours sincerely
