nrf8001 standby consumption

Hello,

I am measuring 5~6 mA of current consumption in standby mode, even when not broadcasting/connected. Why is it so high?

Aditional info:

I am using a custom PCB.

Current on sleep mode seems to be right.

Connection interval: 22,5 ms.

5mA is the peak current for host processing, What is the state of the ACI pins in this case? and are you getting any events after this?

How are you doing the current consumption measurement ? Are you following this white paper - nWP-006 ? (See section 8)

What is the IC version and date code you are using for the nRF8001 ? Please provide all the markings on the top of the IC.

Can you provide a trace of all the SPI messages that have been sent and received so we can have a trace of the actions done on the nRF8001.
