I am measuring 5~6 mA of current consumption in standby mode, even when not broadcasting/connected. Why is it so high?
Aditional info:
I am using a custom PCB.
Current on sleep mode seems to be right.
Connection interval: 22,5 ms.

How are you doing the current consumption measurement ? Are you following this white paper - nWP-006 ? (See section 8)
What is the IC version and date code you are using for the nRF8001 ? Please provide all the markings on the top of the IC.
Can you provide a trace of all the SPI messages that have been sent and received so we can have a trace of the actions done on the nRF8001.
