Hi,
I have upgraded tools many times, the issue I am having now, I am having no luck solving.
Upgrade to nRF Connect for Desktop v3.11.1 (nrfconnect=setup-3.11.1-ai32.exe)
- during installation, if you select not to install the version of jlink provided, the Programmer V3.0.0 will error with mis-match jlink version info
- if you uninstall you version of Jlink, re-install with the option to install version the included version of Jlink, then Programmer v3.0.0 will error : "Error while setting up device (your jlink hw ID): Typeerro: Cannot read property '0' of undefined"
- note, from ToolManager, nRF Connect SDK v1.9.1-> Open Segger Embedded Studio, I can connect to the target device and download/debug, no problem
The above process created a condition where I can longer go backward in versions (uninstall/reinstall) what was working prior to the upgrade. If I install nRF Connect for Desktop v3.10 for example, the Programmer and Toolchain Manager both indicate out of date with the yellow exclamation mark graphic... any route I take from that point is unsuccessful
My guess, their are some lingering registry issues with this latest update.
Looking for guidance.
Best - Kevin
