Problem with NCS Toolchain Manager not starting

Hello,

I am running nRF Connect for Desktop v3.11.1 on Windows and just updated the Tool Manager app to v1.1.3. After Toolchain Manager was updated it is not running anymore. This is the error displayed:

I obviously tried restarting the application and restoring default settings as suggested but it did not help. I checked and the .exe file mentioned in the error indeed does not exist.

  • Also the same issue. VirusTotal reports detection from 8 vendors for the Toolchain manager 1.1.3  zip from Github.

    Our Defender quietly deletes the file and admins are in doubt if it was a real or false positive detection. Looks so that this is a consequence of one of the malware database update after July 24-25th.

    The file is reported as infected for versions 1.1.2, 1.1.1 as well.

    Is there any news?
